White Collar…. so Money

Amazing, just amazing…

I am still trying to swallow all my thoughts of tonight’s White Collar and the future of tv.  Damn, what an unexpected ending, so chilling.  I just saying the people behind this show has some balls.  This is seriously the 7th episode and they pull off the biggest game changer ever and then they put the show on hiatus till January (when most of USA’s shows come back.)  I been loving this show so much and last week I even tweeted out that they were throwing some interesting issues into the mix.  But damn, to this extent, seriously again, these people have balls, I could have easily lived with the interesting wholesome con-artist show with a few mysterious hints, but instead they heighten the experience 10 fold.  I really don’t want to mess up the experience I had for future watchers, but they definitely hit me with a cliffhanger, seriously the dynamics of the show have completely changed, the show I watched for 7 episodes has completely become another show.

I got to calm down, I will never stop repeating myself until January when it get back.

As for TV, I got many theories a lot that conflict and contradict each other.  The one learned from tonight, is people are going to return to the tube for live television.  After this cliffhanger happened, I searched on twitter #whitecollar and it was filled with people with the same reaction as me.  I don’t think people are going to continue to sit on hulu as a crutch.  When they wake up their Twitter and facebook feeds will be inundated with people talking of the show they missed the night before.  Yes my theory is premature, probably on the fact that the show has to be well written and unpredictable.  I think we are at time of war between the networks, channels that never once had original content now have hit shows, wink* wink* AMC with Mad Men.  Companies are taking creative risks and we the consumers are winning because of it.

I want to say White Collar put all of us on an amazing unexpected ride.  One that I am sure all the committed fans are happy about, but 7 episodes is very early to hit people with such a game changer and on the other end really late and risky if this was the planned itinerary.  Seriously my hats off for all the White Collar crew, keep up the good work.
